On Thursday, November 29th, thousands of middle and high school students and teachers from across New England will come together for a one-day program to take a stand against all forms of bullying. During the day, students will discuss the issue in a town meeting and then caucus to exchange ideas and develop an action plan with a partner school for implementation. This rally is a call to action for students to take a stand against bullying!

STAND UP 2012 has been created to educate, motivate and empower young people to actively promote positive social change in their schools and communities.

You're invited to join the STAND UP 2012 Community Coalition, consisting of prominent national and community-based organizations including: The Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC), The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), and The Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) in standing up to bullying. We hope your school will take part in this very important program.
